Since 1970, the FIS Ski World Cup has taken place annually in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the beginning of February 2020 the time had come again: the world’s greatest skiers took to the famous Kandahar slope to compete against each other. The Kandahar slope is one of the most demanding race tracks in the Alpine Ski World Cup. Thousands of spectators cheered on and celebrated with the professional skiers who quickly raced down the steep slope – and in the meantime enjoyed a Benediktiner beer in peace.
